Patricia K. Gibbs

Savannah GA,

Patricia K. Gibbs, age 60, entered eternal rest on June 19, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.  The native of Maryland moved south many years ago and spent her later years in Chatham County.  Patricia was known to be very loving and compassionate person.  Perhaps that is why during her working years, she chose to care for the most vulnerable of the population; as a school bus driver and elderly care provider.  Certainly, her love for others was not limited to those she served through her job.  Upon the birth of her first grandchild, a loving person found new ways to love!  Patricia’s idle time was spent sharing time with her granddaughter.  Other hobbies included sewing, gardening, reading, cooking, and traveling.  A person with a wonderfully loving heart and outgoing personality; Patricia will be sorely missed by all whom met her.

Left to celebrate the memories made are her children, Paulette Cloud of Savannah GA, James Burrell or Honolulu HI, Mikey Burrell of Santee SC, and David Thomson of Casa Grande AZ; a granddaughter, Allaria Cloud of Savannah; 9 siblings, Tommy Gibbs, Tina Farlow, Robert Gardner, Dale Gibbs, Terry Truit, George Truit, Greg Gibbs, Andrew Gibbs, and Ricky Gibson; a beloved friend, Nancy Ferreira; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, July 1, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.  Services are to be held at Central Christian Church located at 6810 Skidaway Road Savannah GA, with Rev. Lionel Marmolejo officiating.  Services will conclude at the church.

Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Gibbs family.
