Guyton
Patricia Pearson McCall, unforgettable mother, sister, grandmother, teacher and advocate for special needs children, passed away on March 13th of 2019. Pat was proud to be a New Orleans native, earning her Masters of Education from Loyola University, allowing her to fulfill her passion for education and helping others through her work with the Effingham School System. She is also known for her work with the Historical Society, her advocacy with Charity Navigators and special needs kids, and her love for her gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill McCall of Guyton, GA and parents James and Rose Pearson of New Orleans, LA.
She is survived by her children: Sarah Hunt, Amanda Duffy, Sean Duffy and his wife Lea, and her grandchildren: Isabel Duffy, Muriel Farrell, and Gabby Duffy.
Her services will be held at 11 a.m. this Saturday, March 16th, at Guyton United Methodist Church on 401 Church St., Guyton, GA, 31312.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the McCall family.
