Patricia Lee Stephens, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family under the care of Covenant Care Hospice of Marianna, FL. Pat was born April 12, 1951. Pat loved her family, her grandchildren were the love of her life. Pat was always a caretaker of others and enjoyed reading. She was an active member in her church, West Bay Baptist Church in Panama City, FL, where she served as treasurer. Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon K. Lutrell; her parents, Dora M. Crews and W. Morris Grimes; her brother, W. Elton Grimes; grandparents, Ora and Lee Hightower and Ethel and William Grimes; mother-in-law, Mary M. Stephens and brother-in-law, Charles E. Stephens.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William D. “Smitty” Stephens of Bonifay, FL; three sons, Derek T. (Andrea) Stephens of Albany, GA, Brandon L. (Karmen) Stephens of Panama City, FL and David J. “D.J.” Stephens of Grand Junction, CO; two sisters, W. Diane Hickox of Waycross, GA and Betty R. (Ray) Braswell of Brunswick, GA; fifteen grandchildren, Kayla (Luke) Manary, Damion (Niccole) Manary, Patience L. Mullis, Brady McClain, Seth Meeker, Bandon Stephens, Jr., Tanner Stephens, Aubrianna Stephens, Tristan Stephens, Luke Faile, Jasmine Carroll, Shelton Carroll, Isabel Carroll, Trish-Aleigh Stephens and Taylor Stephens;  Aunt Norma Mooney and Uncle Donald and Aunt Patsy Hightower; sister and brother-in-laws, JoAnne Stephens of Louisville, KY; Richard and Kathy Stephens of Bonita Springs, FL, Wanda and Bob Sandefur of Vidalia and Lillian and Joe Durrence of Reidsville and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at West Bay Baptist Church beginning at 10:30am with the Memorial services to follow 12:00pm with Pastor Roger Krans officiating,

In lieu of flowers, Ms. Stephens has requested donations be made to West Bay Baptist Church Building Fund, 15302 Memorial Circle, Panama City, FL 32413.

Low Country Cremation and Burial  is serving the Stephens family.
