Pauline (Blocker) Huber

Glennville, GA

Pauline Huber, age 78, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.  The Long county native had lived most of her life in Glennville.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, sewing but most of all her passion was taking care of her family and friends.  Mrs. Pauline was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlton Henry Blocker and Pearl DeLoach Walker; husband, Albert Huber Sr.; siblings, James Carlton “Doc” Blocker, Charlton “Bud” Henry Blocker, Jr., Josaphine Ray, Rose Burkhalter, Retha Holland, Arthur, Roland, Doland, Roy and Freeman Walker and Opal DeLoach.

She is survived by her children, Albert Huber, Jr. and Paulette Morgan both of Glennville and Vicki (Robert) Houpt of Greenville, South Carolina; siblings, Molly Logan of Glennville, Mary Moody of Ludowici, Rita Walker of Glennville, Myrtle (Buster) Williams of Metter, Douglas “Man” Walker of Glennville, Nolan Walker of Jesup, Lois (Matthew) Bryant of Eden, and Mildred (Alan) Strickland of Pooler; grandchildren, Micahlyn and Adrienne Houpt and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2016 beginning at 5:00pm to 7:00pm from the funeral home.  Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00pm from the chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial.  Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Butch Blocker, Harry DeLoach, Larry DeLoach, Timothy Sollosi, Tommy Sollosi and Donald Akins.
