Mrs. Penny Barnard Davis, age 52, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.  She was born in Fayetteville, NC on December 6, 1968 to Paul C. and Doris Knight Barnard.  Penny had lived in Tattnall and Evans Counties most of her life.  She was a Reidsville High School graduate and was a self-employed housekeeper for years.  She had also served as the manager of Nelson Hotel in Reidsville and would help her husband in his painting business.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and painting rocks for Tattnall Rocks. She was a member of the Believer’s Church where she enjoyed spending time with her Church family.  She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Kenneth Barnard.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Greg Davis, Sr. of Collins; her mother, Doris Barnard of Jackson, GA; son, Gregory Davis Jr of Collins; siblings, Betty Barnard Morgan of Glennville and Paul (Letha) Barnard of Jesup; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Believer’s Church in Reidsville with Reverend Sherry Hill officiating.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Barnard Davis family.
