Philip Guy Groover

Ludowici

Philip G. Groover, age 55 passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his residence. The Savannah native had lived in Ludowici for most of his life. He was the owner of My Car Audio in Hinesville. Philip loved to fish, boat riding and generously spending his time helping others. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Groover and his sister, Donna Sikes.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jamie Groover; his mother, Rubye Groover of Ludowici; step-mother, Sue Groover of Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan (Ashley) Groover of Gainesville, FL; siblings, Robin Groover of Ludowici, Eddie (Debra) Maddox of Faulkville, GA. and Alan (Kathy) Maddox of Savannah; granddaughter, Autumn Groover; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, January 16, 2016 from the Glennville Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial.
