Rabun L. "Ray" Collins, Jr, age 61, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his residince after an extended illness.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Chatham County many years moving back to Collins ten years ago.  He was a roofer and a landscaper.  Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Rabun and Irene Collins.

He is survived by his brothers, Marty, Timmy and Spencer Rahn.  He is also survived by a special friend, Mr. Jack Dees of Collins.

Graveside funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Anderson Church Cemetery near Collins where the Reverend Marc Foster officiated.
