Rachael Elizabeth (Tootle) Allen

Rachael Elizabeth Tootle Allen died Monday, April 26, 2021, under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.  Born in Savannah, she lived in Glennville and the Savannah area all her life.  She worked at Gulfstream Aerospace for 25 years and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  Rachael was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nell and Glenn Tootle, and Miriam and Harold Dasher.

She is survived by the love of her life, her daughter Caitlin (Jake) Dobbs of Rome, GA; mother, Melba Dasher of Savannah; father and stepmother, Barry and Saralyn Tootle of Glennville; sister, Rita Tootle Smith of Savannah; niece and nephew, Molly and Luke Smith of Savannah; and furry companion, Biscuit;  several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 29, at Glennville City Cemetery for family and friends with Chaplain David Colburn officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.
