Ralph Johnson

Ralph Johnson was born on January 18, 1945, in Bulloch County to the late Frank and Mary Julia Johnson. He answered his call on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was educated in Candler County School System.

Ralph had a love for paint and body work. And then went on to become a tractor trailer driver for many years. Upon becoming self employed with his own trucking company and a limousine driver.

Ralph joined the United States Army and married the love of his life, Ms. Willie Mae Brown. To this union  five children were born. Two preceded him in death, Patrick Johnson and Jermaine Johnson and one grandchild, Quintin Davis. And on June 12, 2014, God called his wife, Willie Mae Brown Johnson home. He leaves to cherish his memories with his children, Ralph Johnson, Jr., Perry, FL, Anthony (Mavis) Johnson, Claxton, GA, and Tracy Johnson, Metter, GA; one brother, Larry (Beth) Johnson, Vero Beach, FL; one sister, Clara (Harvey) Frink, Metter, GA; one aunt, Mary Driggers, Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Hilton, Rainy Inniss, Harvell Cooper, Quantum Johnson, Priscilla Davis, Antionette Johnson, Shakirah Johnson, and Loretta Johnson; six great-grandchildren, Quinesha Davis, Kah’mya Cooper, Quintin Davis, A’quan Harvey, Quinton Lewis and Jeffrey Hilton, III; one great-great-grandchild, Taeshawn Davis; nine brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 18, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. from Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor William Rock, officiating. Burial followed in the Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glennville.

Pallbearers were Daniel Bennett, Duane Smith, Antonio Fleming, George Fleming, Robert Parker and Mario Berry.

Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
