Ramon Hernandez Martinez age 51 passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Pruitt Health Hospice. He was a native of Mexico and had lived in Glennville for the past 30 years. Ramon was of the Catholic faith and worked in the construction industry for most of his life. In his spare time he loved to listen to music, play baseball and watch soccer. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Florentina Martinez of Glennville; children, Santiago Sanchez of Glennville, Michael Lee (Shay) White of Statesboro and Sandra (Javier) Martinez of Glennville; siblings, Raul Hernandez, Sofia Hernandez both of Mexico; grandchildren, Stephanie Monk, Daniel Monk, Jessica Martinez, Leslie (Ryan) Dasher, Candace Martinez, Xavier Martinez, Michael Lee White, Jr., Jose White, Dion White, Daniel White; great-grandchild, Finn Dasher; also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

There will be an opportunity on Thursday, March 26, 2020 for friends to stop by the funeral home between the hours of 5:00pm to 8:00pm to pay respects to Ramon. Interment will be private.

Ramón Hernández Martínez, de 51 años, falleció el martes 24 de marzo de 2020 en su residencia rodeado de su amada familia y bajo el cuidado de Pruitt Health Hospice. Era nativo de México y había vivido en Glennville durante los últimos 30 años. Ramón era de fe católica y trabajó en la industria de la construcción durante la mayor parte de su vida. En su tiempo libre le encantaba escuchar música, jugar béisbol y ver fútbol. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres.

Le sobreviven su esposa durante 21 años, Florentina Martínez de Glennville; niños, Santiago Sánchez de Glennville, Michael Lee (Shay) White de Statesboro y Sandra (Javier) Martinez de Glennville; hermanos, Raúl Hernández, Sofía Hernández, ambos de México; nietos, Stephanie Monk, Daniel Monk, Jessica Martinez, Leslie (Ryan) Dasher, Candace Martinez, Xavier Martinez, Michael Lee White, Jr., Jose White, Dion White, Daniel White; bisnieto, Finn Dasher; También sobrevivió por numerosos otros familiares y amigos.

Habrá una oportunidad el jueves 26 de marzo de 2020 para que los amigos pasen por la funeraria entre las 5:00 p.m. y las 8:00 p.m. para presentar sus respetos a Ramón. El sepelio será privado.
