Glennville
Randolph Howard Adams "Shaky", age 53 passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Facility. The Daytona, Florida native had lived in Glennville for many years. He was employed as a supervisor with Durrence Construction and Midway Farms for the past 23 years. Shaky is preceded in death by his father, Howard Lee Adams Sr; brother, Leboy Williams; and a nephew, Dr. Joe Lee Green.
He is survived by his employers of 23 years who were like family and in the end his caregivers, John and Deedee Durrence of Glennville; Shaky witnessed the family's growth and was like an Uncle to Johnathan, Jake, Kaitlin, Tyler, and Dawson;close friend, Tyrone Tippins of Glennville, daughter, Kenyetta Sanders of Glennville; his mother, Allie Mae Lewis of Daytona, FL; siblings, Johnnie Mae Williams and Diane of Douglas, GA, Josephine Pope and Charles Hickson both of Daytona, FL, Clarance Brooks of New York, Marjorie (Andrew) Jackson of Baltimore, Willie (Patricia) Parker, Jr of Daytona Beach, his twin, Randall Adams of Baltimore, Franklin (Donna) Benjamin of Daytona Beach, Patricia (Jerry) Fulton all of Ellenwood, GA, Ida Mae Green and Florace Adams both of Daytona Beach, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives; special friends, J.C. and Corale Roberson and their children and Lisa,Mann, and the Tippins family.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from the Glennville Funeral Home with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am also from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Glennville Memorial Gardens.
