Glennville
Raymond Wayne Morgan, age 83 passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his residence in Glennville. He was born January 25, 1930 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He was living in Poulsbo, Washington when he signed up to serve with the US Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He served on ships as an engineman and landing craft operator during the Korean and Vietnam wars and spent his last 5 years in the US Navy assigned to shore duty. After retiring from the US Navy, he worked for the city of Vallejo, California and retired as a Sewer treatment Engineer after 19 years. He and his late wife, Betty Morgan then moved to Glennville.
He is survived by his wife, Jerri Morgan of Glennville; sons, Robert W. Morgan of Port Angeles, Washington and Albert L. Morgan of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Patricia L. Morgan-Vallejos of Martinez, California; sisters, Mary of Elma, Washington and Marline of Medford, Oregon; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2014 with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00pm from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Homes. Interment will be private.
