Mr. Raymond Lee “Stretch” Todd age 73 passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. The Tattnall County native was a Glennville High School Graduate of the Class of 1958. He served in the US Air Force and was a home builder for many years. Mr. Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and taking care of his animals. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Savannah and is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Doretha Todd; sister, Gwinnette Tyson and a brother, John Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Todd of Brooklet; sons, Raylee Todd of Midway, and Walter (Sherri) Todd of Brooklet; step son, Phillip (Jennifer) Todd of Reidsville; brothers, Bill Todd of Savannah, Mike Todd of Brunswick, Steve Todd of Guyton; sister, Tammy Creasy of Denmark; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday from the Glennville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from the Glennville funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
