Reinaldo Emeric

Reinaldo Emeric, age 63, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the North Florida-South Georgia Health Systems in Gainesville, FL.  He was born in Bronx, NY on October 24, 1957 to Nicolas and Cielo Cardona Emeric and had served 21 years in the US Army retiring as a Sergeant First Class.  After his retirement from the US Army he served as a Code Enforcement Officer in Orlando, Florida and for the City of Decatur, GA.  Reinaldo loved to tinker on vehicles and electronics.  He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebeca Emeric and a brother, Jaime Emeric.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Emeric; daughters, Jennifer Marie Emeric and Valentina LaRue; step sons, Anthony and William Rivera; step grandson, Jerade Rivera; sister, Linda (Randy) Olin and a brother, Nicolas Emeric; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 beginning at 1:00pm with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Dr. Rick Cason officiating.  Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
