Richard "Lee" Dasher Jr.

Mr. Richard Lee Dasher, Jr. age 57 of Glennville passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Lee was born in Statesboro to Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Dasher of Glennville. He was owner and operator of Glennville Hardware for many years and was presently employed with Lang Building Supply as a sales consultant in Brunswick. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church in Glennville and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

Lee is survived by his fiancé Kim Gordon; children, Marlee Layne Dasher and Jenna Alexander Dasher, Parker Gordon, Walker Gordon and Grace Gordon; his parents, Richard and Deweese Dasher; sister and brother-in-law, Kayla and Kent Pedrick; special nieces, Alex and Reagan Pedrick.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Friday, September 22, 2017 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Rogers, Clinton Dasher, Lang Brannen, Grant Hilton, Matt Dasher, Walker Gordon, Parker Gordon, Mark Pedrick, Billy Barnard and Danny Anderson.
