Rick Sims, 61, of Georgia, passed away on January 19, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Delores Sims and the late Richard 'Dick' Sims.

Rick, also known as Ricky Roy Sims, was a loving father and grandfather. He cherished his family and leaves behind his daughter, Audrey Edwards (John Burroughs), his sister, Linda Zimmerman (Bruce), his granddaughter, Cassidy Edwards, and his grandsons, Gavin and Cameron Tryon. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard 'Dick' Sims, his brother, Tony Sims, and his daughter, Stephanie Tryon.

In his free time, Rick enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He found solace and joy in fishing, crafting, woodworking, and exploring yard sales. Rick's passion for outdoor activities was evident in his adventurous spirit and love for nature.

Rick will be remembered for his kind and generous nature. He touched the lives of many with his warm personality and willingness to lend a helping hand. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Rick's life and honor his memory.
