Robert Lee Aleywine, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  Lee had battled heart issues and other medical issues for quite a while, however you would never know his physical pains.  He was known for his smile; which would light up any room he entered.  A family man at heart, nothing brought joy to his life like the time he was able to spend with his family, especially playing with the grandkids.  In his professional career, he was a skilled mechanic and prided himself on his ability to fix anything he set his mind to.  Lee was known by many, loved by all and will be deeply missed.  He is preceded in death by his father, James Aleywine and mother, Hazel Mae Crews.

Left to cherish memories of a life together is his wife, Debra Aleywine; 4 daughters, Lacey Aleywine, Michelle Conner, Kelly Grantham, and Casey Aleywine; 3 brothers, Wendel Aleywine, Buddy Aleywine, and Bob Aleywine; 2 sisters, Connie Richardson and Darlene Edge; 5 grandchildren, Ryder Jones, Josie Grantham, Vayda Grantham, Macon August, and Payton Maldonado; 2 sisters in law, Jennifer (Andy) Coursey and Shannon Stone; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends also survive.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville.

A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 4:00 in the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial with Rev. Danny Zorn officiating.

Services will conclude at the chapel.
