Mr. Robert Nathaniel “Nat” Beasley age 94 passed away Monday July 8, 2013 at his home.  The Tattnall County native was reared in Reidsville living in Tampa for five years moving to Millen in 1956.  Mr. Beasley was a World War II US Army Veteran and a retired farmer.  He is a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church but attended Millen Baptist Church.  Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Lane Beasley; brother, Mason Beasley and a sister, Rosalyn Beasley.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Beasley of Millen; daughter and son-in-law, Lane and JC Cooper of Claxton; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Beasley of Voluntown, Conn; Sister, Betty VanHorn of Savannah; step daughters, Sandy Stepp of Atlanta, Dorothy Moore of Nashville, TN, Anita Bishop of Port Richey, FL; four grandchildren, Beth Cooper, Nicholas Beasley, Caroline Beasley and Katherine Beasley.

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Thursday July 11, 2013 with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm from the Millen Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Crowder and Rev. Edwin Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow in the Millen City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don Burke, Steve Burke, Ed Davis, Lester Brinson, Nicholas Beasley, and Ryan Tehang
