Robert "Rob" John Micheli

Robert "Rob" John Micheli also known as “Tweak”, age 39 of Savannah  took his final ride on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He was born on October 15, 1984 in Englewood, New Jersey to Robert and Linda Demchak Micheli.  He graduated from Mountain Lakes High School, NJ and Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Law & Society Degree.  Rob was a former police officer in Albany, GA, Savannah, GA and a switcher for FedEx Ground of Savannah. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, riding roller coasters, boating, going to the beach, traveling, spending time with family, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching other sports that included moto racing, cooking & grilling, watching his favorite shows, playing with his fur babies, collecting guns & knives, listening to music, going to concerts, tattoos. Rob was a friendly, sweet person & loving to those he held dear. He was a helpful person who didn't like to see anyone sad. Most downtime was spent making memories with his wife & their fur babies. Rob definitely had a daredevil side that craved an adrenaline rush. He often talked of his plans/desires to skydive & bungee jump. Additionally, his dream was to travel to Ireland for the 2024 Isle of Man TT races, for his 40th birthday. He had a great work ethic & was well liked by his coworkers & bosses alike. Rob had an extreme affection & love for both his wife & his daughter. He has been regarded, in past days, as a great man and he is already overwhelmingly missed by so many. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Demchak; paternal grandparents, Julius and Elizabeth Micheli.
 

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Renee Micheli; daughter, Hope Lynn Micheli; stepson, Hunter Devan Jay Brasington Sr; grandson, Hunter Devan Jay Brasington Jr; parents, Robert Micheli and Linda Demchak Micheli; sister, Nicole (Jason "Jay") Polachek; maternal grandmother, Mimi Schoolcraft; father in law, John Dale Brantley (Ronda); mother in law, Patricia Lynn Kerezsi (Tony); sister in law, Melissa (Conrad) Koch; brothers in law, William "Eric" (Becky) Thigpen and Jimmy (Danielle) Sharpe Jr; uncles, Robert (Deena) Demchak and John (Marilyn) Micheli; nieces, Jamie and Julie Polachek and Marilyn Walls; nephew, Justin Polachek; several more nieces & nephews & great nieces & nephews by marriage.

Rob was a registered organ donor. Due to his generosity, heroism & bravery, Rob's donations saved three lives, while potentially helping an additional 25 plus.
