Roberto Cibrian-Mencias

Roberto Cibrian-Mencias, a beloved member of the community, passed away on August 23, 2023, in Glennville. Born on April 12, 1967, in Mexico, Roberto was a resident of Glennville for the past 28 years. He was known for his remarkable skills as a landscaper, turning ordinary spaces into breathtaking works of art. Roberto's dedication to his craft was unmatched, and he considered his work not just a profession but also a cherished hobby.

Roberto's true joy came from spending time with his family. He cherished every moment shared with his sons Jonathan Villalobos of Reidsville and Zeke (Jasmine) Cibrian of South Carolina. They were the pride of his life, and he always supported them wholeheartedly in their pursuits. His love for family extended to his brothers and sisters: Jesus Cibrian, Tacho Cibrian, Ramon Cibrian, Eliso Cibrian all of Mexico; Pablo Cibrian and Marcos Cibrian of Glennville; Elena Cibrian of Mexico; and Rosa Cibrian of Glennville.

In addition to being surrounded by loved ones, Roberto found solace in his Catholic faith. His spirituality grounded him and provided him with strength throughout his life.

Roberto was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe Cibrian and Francisca Mencias. Though they are no longer with us, the memories of their love and guidance will continue to live on through Roberto's legacy.

Roberto was also blessed with three beautiful grandchildren: Adalynn Cibrian, Anna Cibrian, and Maggie Cibrian. He adored them each as individuals and eagerly participated in their lives. Roberto's loving nature extended beyond immediate family; he maintained close relationships with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will dearly miss him.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Roberto will be laid to rest in Mexico, his place of birth, where his journey began. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the vibrant and generous life he lived. Roberto's memory will forever remain etched in our hearts as we remember him for his unwavering love, dedication, and kindness towards all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

May he rest in peace.
