Robert "Robbie" Mitchum Pye

Robbie Pye, age 58, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia.  He was born September 12, 1962 in Lyons to Jake Edward and Bonnell Johnson Pye and had lived in Collins all of his life.  Robbie was retried from CSX Railroad as an inspector.  His family was his life and he especially enjoyed grilling for them.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his siblings, Johnny (Norma) Pye of Reidsville, Wiley (Karen) Sumner of Emanuel County  and Bonnie Jo (James) Williamson of Collins; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the funeral home with a graveside funeral service to follow at 11:00am at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Andrew Nelms officiating.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.
