Robin Faye Chavers, affectionately known as Robby Faye by her family and to others Faye, transitioned this life unexpectedly on June 11, 2022, at the age of 53.
Faye was born July 30, 1968, to the late Robert Chavers and Katie Mae Chavers (née Joiner) in West Palm Beach, Florida, later her family settled in Reidsville, Georgia where she grew up. Faye’s siblings: two sisters and four brothers and she was the mother of two daughters. Faye received her education from Reidsville Public Schools.
In 1996, Faye took a leap of Faith and moved to the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia where she resided until her death. Faye began a nursing career which she truly loved, spanning more than 32 years; working in a variety of nursing homes and hospitals. She was a diligent worker and a true professional which led her to receive numerous recognitions from supervisors, patients, and their family members.
Faye attended the Tabernacle of Praise Church International where she loved worshiping and praising the Lord. Faye’s heart was as BIG as the sun. She was a kind, compassionate person who never hesitated to help those in need and never looked for anything in return. Faye immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people with her bubbly personality. She was very devoted to her family, friends, and would drop everything to see about them. She loved with her whole heart and was extremely proud of her two daughters who were the absolute light of her life.
Faye was preceded in death by her father Robert Chavers and mother Katie Mae Chavers.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memories: two daughters: Katie Brown and Kayla Chavers both of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters: Joyce Fleming (Adrian) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Janice Gibson of West Palm Beach, Florida; four brothers: Bobby Chavers (Keisha) of Reidsville, Georgia, Paul Chavers of Atlanta, Georgia, Walter Chavers of Reidsville, Georgia, and Herbert “Duke” (Surrina) Chavers of Reidsville, Georgia; her beloved aunt Hattie Boone of Macon, Georgia; brother-in-law Adrian Fleming of Atlanta, Georgia; sister-in-law Keisha Chavers of Reidsville, Georgia; bonus sisters: Lisa Webster (Kevin), of Lawton, Oklahoma and Ronee Walthour, of Atlanta, Georgia; niece Kedeshia “Dee-Dee” Chavers of Reidsville, Georgia; bonus nieces: Leah Anyona (George) of Kenya and Kiana Webster of Lawton, Oklahoma; nephews: Michael Chavers of Atlanta, Georgia, Dorion “Choc” Fleming and Dorielle “Red” Fleming both of Reidsville, Georgia; bonus daughter Kima Brown of Baltimore, Maryland, and a host of cousins, loved ones and friends.
