Mr. Rodger K. “Ford Boy” Cribbs, age 61, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his residence under the care of Community Hospice.  He was born April 06, 1960 in Syracuse, NY to Joe Hill and Mary Odessa Cribbs and had lived in Collins for the past 30 years.  He had recently retired from Jamie Thompson Service Center in Vidalia as a Master Tech Mechanic after 31 years of service. Even in his free time he loved working on cars.  Rodger was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Larry Cribbs.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Cribbs of Collins; children, April Nicole Hobbs of West Virginia, Angela (Thomas) Bennett of Lyons, Krystal (Corey) Ryals of Waycross, Anna Shorts of Texas, Ashley Eason of Collins, and Stevie Ray Fowler of Vidalia; sisters, Mary Jo Rewis (Randy Blankenship) of Cobbtown, Patsy Padgett of Metter and Judy Kay Cribbs of Uvalda; 34 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2021from the hours of 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  Funeral services will be private.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Cribbs family.
