Ronald L. Stanfield, age 59, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born July 26, 1958 to JR and Margaret Currie Stanfield and lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He retired from the Georgia State Prison after 24 years of service.  Ronald’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, mud bogging, and Nascar racing.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Faircloth Stanfield of Reidsville; children, Casey Stanfield of Indiana, Cory Shafer of Reidsville, Brandy Sellers of Reidsville, Scotty McKinnon of Ludowici, Joseph Hughes of Reidsville, Kevin Hughes of Swainsboro, and Evin Hughes of Colorado; siblings, Billy Stanfield and Janet Stanfield both of Reidsville; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday, June 9, 2018 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm.
