Ronald W. “Ronnie” DeLoach, age 76, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The lifelong resident of Long County was born on June 9, 1948 to Willie Henry and Mildred Swindell DeLoach. He was a 1967 Long County High School graduate. Ronnie retired as a nurseryman after approximately 24 years of service from Rayonier Nursery in Glennville. He served on the Long County Fire Department for 50 years. He was also a First Responder on the C.E.R.T. team. He loved hunting, fishing and farming. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and tending to his cows. He is a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, Willie DeLoach, Sr and Mildred Blocker; his siblings, Roger DeLoach, Gary DeLoach, Willa Ruth Chike, and Audrey Williams

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Margie DeLoach of Glennville; sons and daughters in law, Ronald “Ron” and Kelli DeLoach, Keith and Dina DeLoach and Matt and Calysta DeLoach all of Glennville; sisters and brother  in law, Winifred Walker of Ohio and Jan and Danny Foster of Glennville; his brothers and sister in law, Willie DeLoach, Jr. and Gerald and Cheryl Blocker all of Glennville; grandchildren, Austin DeLoach, Payton DeLoach, Lawson DeLoach, Bode DeLoach, Anna DeLoach, and Bristol DeLoach; numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Glennville Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverends Shon Cunningham and Curt Tootle officiating.  Interment will follow with full firefighter honors at the DeLoach Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Bradley, Shane Gilmore, Trevor Tatum, Justin Foster, Zach Gilmore and Stacy Johnson

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Huie, Gene Rosentrater, Herman Wells and the Men's Bible Study Group from Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church

Memorials may be given to the Little Rock Baptist Church parking lot paving fund, PO Box 487, Glennville, GA 30427
