Ronnie “Ron” Denson, age 68 passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at his residence.  The St. Louis MO native had lived in many places during his Army career retiring to Collins in 1995.  He was a retired Master Sergeant from the US Army serving 22 years and also retired as a Maintenance Supervisor from the Civil Service at Fort Stewart.  Ron loved to fish, camp and see about his poodles.  He was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Denson.

He is survived by his children, Patricia (Rodger) Cribbs of Collins and Ronnie (Jennifer) Denson of Conowingo, MD; siblings, Jeanie Wright, Billy Denson, Dottie Laborde, Jimmy Denson, and Angie Schultz; grandchildren, Ashley Eason, Stevie Ray Fowler, Korey Denson, and Samantha Denson; great grandchildren, Hunter Denson and Mickenly Eason; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Wednesday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:30pm Thursday, May 25, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Dr. Rick Cason officiating.
