Obituary
Ronald E. “Ronnie” Rogers
age 60 passed away
Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at his residence
surrounded by his family and friends and under the
care of Southern Care Hospice. He was a lifelong
Reidsville resident that had been employed with
Canoochee Electric Membership Corp. for 37 years.
Ronnie loved to go camping, trout fishing and tubing
in the Smokey Mountains. He also loved to go hunting
and antiquing. He was the Chairman of Deacons at Pine
Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville. Ronnie is preceded in death by his father,
Jack Rogers; sister, Linda Rogers Holland and a brother, Fred Rogers.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Renee Graffagnino Rogers of Reidsville;
Mother, Louie Rogers of Reidsville; Mother-in-law, Edna Dees of Collins; Aunts, Betty
Thomas, Helen Taylor and Becky Rooks; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Fran and Wayne
Jarriel, Carla Graffagnino, Joey Graffagnino, Keith and Terri Graffagnino all of Collins;
Nieces and nephews, Sierra and Bryan Jarriel, Brian and Tonya Holland, Amanda Holland,
Jordan and Cristina Hureta, Joseph Coursey, Marshall and Cristi Jarriel, Jesse and Eric
Rowland, Travis and Brandi Rogers, Kaleb Graffagnino, Anna and Dexter Rodes, Sarah
and Brandon Alstin, Debra and Jon Stewart; Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Friday, February 24, 2012 from the Reidsville
Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend David Moxley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville Cemetery. Pallbearers
will be Mike Thompson, Jesse Sharpe, Roger Sharpe, Jerome Dotson, Cody Dotson and
Dwayne Gay. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Canoochee Electric Membership Corp.
