Roy Bradwell Smith

LUDOWICI

Roy Bradwell Smith, age 70 passed away Wednesday,

August 8, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Wilkes County and had lived in Long County

since the age of six. Roy was a member of First Baptist

Church of Ludowici, where he taught Sunday School for 20

years. He raisedand trained thoroughbred horses and enjoyed

spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents,

James Bradwell Smith, Jr. and Louise Harrison Smith.

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Cline Smith of Ludowici; son, James

Everett Smith (Patricia) of Ludowici; daughter, Jessica Smith Goldsmith (Taylor)

of Lakeland, Florida; three grandchildren, Leena Mae Smith, Elizabeth Joy

Memorial Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Ludowici with the Reverend Eric Rentz officiating. Family will receive family and friends following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Ludowici, P.O. Box 489, Ludowici, GA. 31316.
