Roy "Boobie" Spikes Jr.

Mr. Roy “Boobie” Spikes, Jr . age 79, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah surround by his family.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Evans, GA for twelve years before moving back to Reidsville.  He was the owner of Roy’s Drywall and the Boobie’s Trap.  Boobie loved to fish and play poker.  He attended Elza Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Trudie Spikes; brother, JE Spikes; and a grandson, Michael Roy Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Spikes of Reidsville; children, Tracy Spikes Jones of Reidsville, Diane Fox of Ormand Beach, FL, Jackie Gay, Heath Gay, Shawn Gay, Dwaine Gay and Cullen Gay all of Reidsville; brother, Glen (Pat) Spikes of Glennville; sisters, Gloria Dean Spikes of Reidsville; Margaret Ann (Jerry Bruce) Sanders, and Rita (Gary) Waher all of Collins; grandchildren, Matthew Fowler, Andrew Fox, Chase and Brooke Craft,  Michael, Dustin, Derick, Devin, Demi, and Jackson Gay; twelve great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm Sunday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday, September 7, 2015 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Allen Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
