Rozina (Kersey) Scott

January 12, 1939 — July 6, 2012

Fernandina Beach, FL./ Toombs County,

Mrs. Rozina Kersey Scott , age 73 passed away

Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence under the care

of her family and Community Hospice. The Johnson

Corner native had lived in Toombs County most of her

life moving to Fernandina Beach twelve years ago.

She was a homemaker and a member of Five Points

Baptist Church. She loved sewing and making crafts.

Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her husband of 24yrs,

Marvin Scott; parents, Mitchell and Maggie Birdie Kersey;

brothers, Burnice, Felton and Cecil Kersey; sister, Jerlen Holley.

She is survived by: Son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Arlene

Scott of Fernandina Beach; daughters and son-in-law, Terry Scott

Tracy and Robert Gilmer all of Fernandina Beach; brothers, Mickey

Kersey of Lyons, Elton Kersey of Augusta; sisters, Mary Groover of

Reidsville, Lula Scarboro of Kite, Audary Berton of Cedar Crossing;

Seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and

nephews also survive

Visitation will be 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday July 8, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday July 9, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel with the Reverend Alan Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Calvin White, Chris Kersey, Allan Kersey, Anthony Kersey, Robert Hammock, Jr. and Brian Hammock.

Memorial may be given to North East Community Hospice or Five Points Baptist Church.

Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel is serving the Scott family.
