Ruby Lee Hall, age 98, a beloved member of the Reidsville community, passed away peacefully at her home on October 8, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1925, in Reidsville to her loving parents, Roscoe and Annie Bell Foreman Smith.
Throughout her life, Ruby made significant contributions as a dedicated dietician. She spent years working at Tattnall Elementary School, ensuring that students received balanced and nutritious meals. She continued to share her passion for nutrition at Tattnall Nursing Care. Ruby's commitment to the well-being of others was truly remarkable and left an indelible mark on those she served.
Ruby's devotion extended beyond her professional life. She took great joy in cooking and showcased her culinary skills with family and friends. Her dishes were treasured by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. As a member of St. Williams Baptist Church, Ruby found solace in her faith.
Family was incredibly important to Ruby throughout her life. She cherished every moment spent with her three children, Hilton Hall Sr., Charles (Joyce) Hall Jr., and Jessie Sapp, all residing in Reidsville. Their bond was unbreakable and filled with immeasurable love.
In addition to her children, Ruby is survived by her brother Curtis Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Ruby's legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In this time of grief, Ruby's family and friends will come together to pay their respects and celebrate her extraordinary life. Visitation will take place on October 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Low Country Cremation & Burial, located at 124 Jordan Street, Reidsville, GA 30453. A funeral service will be held on October 13, 2023, starting at 2:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
