Rufus "Rudy" Daniel Collins, Jr.

Mr. Rufus Daniel "Rudy" Collins, Jr. age 51, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Savannah.  He was a Chatham County native that had lived in Savannah all of his life.  Rudy was a hardwood floor installer for many years.  He enjoyed all kind of sports and loved to spend time with his children.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Rachel Graham Collins.

He is survived by his children, Cameron (Courtney) Collins of Statesboro, Tristian Collins and Coy Smith both of Statesboro; siblings, Mike (Beth) Meeks of Savannah, Lisa (James) Cheney of Orlando, FL, and Graham Quinn Collins of Savannah; three grandchildren, Lily, Rachel, Atlas and Rowan Collins all of Statesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends beginning at 1:30pm on Sunday, June 6, 2021 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Nathan Pittman officiating.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Collins family.
