Ruth (Kennedy) Rogers

Mrs. Ruth Kennedy Rogers , age 96 passed away Friday November 23, 2012 at home.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Savannah many years moving back to Reidsville in 1985.  She was a retired retail clerk working for many years in the grocery business.  Mrs. Ruth was an Eastern Star and a member of the Reidsville Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents, R.H. and Maude Alexander Kennedy, her husband, Marvin Rogers and several siblings.

She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor Bragg of Jacksonville, FL and Bert Griner of Lyons.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Sunday November 25, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Elder Terry Lynn officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rome Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Rome Baptist Church Cemetery Post Office Box 111, Reidsville, GA 30453.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Speer, Charles Collins, David Moran, Todd Padgett, Eddie Rewis and Greg Williams.
