Sammy Dale Weeks, age 58 passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Tallahassee, Fl. He was born in Colquitt County to the late Ira Ashley Weeks and Lois Blount Weeks. Sam was employed by Warner Recovery Company in Moultrie, GA. Sammy was known for his keen sense of humor, great storytelling ability and passion for life. He was truly loved by his co-workers and great friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mitzi Maxwell Weeks; brother, Harold Weeks.

He is survived by his children, Samantha Weeks, Amanda Weeks and Sammy Weeks, Jr.; grandchildren, Lily Stroup and Brayleigh Walker; brothers, Stanley Wayne Weeks, Starlyn A. Weeks, Lawrence A. Weeks and Joe A. Weeks; sister, Melba Weeks; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church, Cool Springs, Rd. Norman Park, GA. 31771.
