Sandi P. Nelson age 58, passed away Sunday May 21, 2017 at her residence.  The Atlanta native had lived in Cobb County most of her life before moving to Townsend in 2010.  She was a homemaker that loved to tend to her flowers and spend time with her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her father, Bud Pollinger.

Sandi is survived by her husband, Doug Wooten of Townsend; mother, Patricia Pollinger of St. Augustine, FL; daughters, Jessica Schneider of Powder Springs, GA, and Jamie Hamm of Paulding County, GA; siblings, Teresa McGaha of Cape Coral, FL, Rick Hedden of Rockmart, GA, and Rod Hedden of Gainesville, GA; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday, May 25, 2017 from the Sapelo Gardens Club House.
