Sandra “Sandy” Jean Dennis Lane, age 72 passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. Sandy was born in Morganfield, Kentucky on August 24, 1950 to Wilburn “Didlum” Dennis and Daisey Walker Coffey. She had previously lived in Jesup and moved to Surrency 4 years ago. She was of the Baptist faith and in her spare time, she enjoyed singing, gardening, playing Bingo and she loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Earl Dennis.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamora “Tammy” Lane-Scott of Durham, NC, her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Andy Campbell of Baxley, her son and daughter-in-law Levy & Samantha Lane of Hortense; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patty (Drew) Logsdon Drabing of French Lick, IN., Richard Walker of Morgansfield, KY., and Bruce Bailey of Red Bay, AL; “Sister” her special furry companion; numerous other relatives also survive.

The family would like to thank Regency Southern Care Hospice, special caregivers, Sharon Adams, Edith Brown and Kim Boatright, RN for the compassionate and excellent care that was given to Ms. Sandy.

No services will be held.
