Sarah Elizabeth Campbell, age 71 passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence after a long illness. She was a native of Lawrence, South Carolina, living in New York for many years before moving to Jesup. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. Sarah enjoyed laughing and making jokes, eating her favorite food and spending time with her grandchilren. She was preceded in death by her mother, brother, J.D. Campbell; sister, Anne Campbell.
She is survived by her son, Norman Campbell of Jesup; daughter, Joyce (William) Staley of Jesup; grandchildren,Christopher Campbell, George Campbell, Eric Campbell, Shaneka Campbell, Fatima Campbell; great-grandchildren, Nana, Jaden, Jayla, Jace; She was well loved by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
