Shannon Davis

Reidsville

Shannon Davis, age 45, passed away on December 21, 2020 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville.  The native of Clayton County moved to Reidsville at an early age and spent the majority of his life in Reidsville.  In 1993 he was in the last graduating class of Reidsville High School.  Shannon was employed with Woody Folsom Ford in Baxley where he was a Parts Pro.  Indeed, he loved his work family but, no one could hold a candle to the “apple of his eye”, his beloved granddaughter, Adalynn, whom he adored.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and playing video games.   Another favored pastime happened to align with his career though; he loved tinkering on cars and atvs.  In fact, Shannon was so devoted to this hobby he even built a shop behind his house for this sole purpose.  A hardworking and fun-loving family man, Shannon exemplified dedication and devotion; he will be deeply missed.  He is preceded in death by his father, Barney E. Davis.

Left to cherish the memories are his wife, Libby Marie Davis of Reidsville; mother, Norma Davis of Reidsville; three children, Tiffany Allison Davis of Reidsville, Camri S. Davis of Dublin, and Joseph Lindell LaCass of Collins; a granddaughter, Adalynn Crystal Brown; other family members, countless friends, and work family also survive.

Visitation is scheduled to be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial.

Graveside funeral services will follow the visitation on Saturday, December 26, 2020 beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Toombs County with Dr. Chuck Jonas officiating.

Pallbearers will be,  Brian Turner, AJ Wagner, Jason Carter, Mark Cowart, AJ Smith and Bryan Curl.
