Shannon Clark Foster, age 44 passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Heartland Hospice. The South Carolina native had lived many years in Hinesville, moving to Glennville 3 years ago. She was a 1989 graduate of Bradwell High School and was employed with Foster’s Floor Covering. Shannon attended First United Pentecostal Church of Glennville. In her spare time, she loved to watch college football and going to NASCAR races. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Doris Lane Clark; father-in-law, Elton Foster.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Foster of Glennville; father, Gene Clark of Irmo, SC; mother, Charlene Morris of Andrews, SC; children, Katlyn Rutherford of Gastonia, NC, Jonathan Rutherford of Columbia, SC, Emily (Ryan) Knight of Swanson, SC; step-children, Trevor Foster, Baylee Foster, Colby Foster, Gabe Foster all of Glennville; grandchildren, Macilynn A. Knight; step-grandchildren, Miles A. Foster; mother-in-law, RuthAnn Foster; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Jan Foster.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am Thursday, February 2, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm from the First United Pentecostal Church of Glennville with Reverend Brad Pickren officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, February 3, 2017 from the Bethesday Southern Methodist Church Cemetery, 1713 Highway 38W. Latta SC. 29565. Pallbearers will be J.A. Blocker, John Downs, Glenn Mays, Justin Foster, Franz Long, Tyron Joyner. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Joyner, Wilton Foster, Richard Long, Page Thomson, Van Rowe.
