Shelby Jean Kennedy, age 76 passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Abercorn Rehabilitation. Mrs. Shelby was loving mother, grandmother, and a Christian woman. She was a homemaker who enjoyed music and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kennedy.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Gary) Rost, William (Shirley) Kennedy, Kenny (Tammy) Kennedy, Keith (Patti) Kennedy, Edward Kennedy, Michael (Liz) Kennedy; brothers, Dwight (Joyce) Gantt and Jimmy (Barbara) Gantt; sisters, Molly (Jacob) Westenfield and Theo (Curtis) Miller; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Services will be held at a later date.
