Sherri Lynn Kelley, age 59, passed away on August 2, 2024, at the Community Hospice inpatient center in Vidalia following a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. Born on August 21, 1964, in Greenwood, SC, to Jackie Heath Sr. and Polly Ann Bromeling, Sherri was known for her kind and caring nature, always ready for a heartfelt conversation. A true "people person," she never met a stranger. Sherri devoted much of her career to caring for others as a personal nurse aide. Later, she became a welcoming face at Reidsville Service Center, where her friendly demeanor greeted many customers. Outside of work, Sherri found joy in the outdoors, where she was an active gardener.
Additionally, Sherri’s loving heart extended to animals as well. Over the years, she rescued countless cats and dogs and ensured they were well cared for and shown love. Nothing however could compare to the love she had for her grandchildren. Her happiest days were while sharing time with them. A selfless and caring heart that would brighten anyone’s day, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish a lifetime of memories is her daughter, Leslie Pagan of Collins; four grandchildren, Rowan, Renly, Carolina, and Zombie Pagan of Collins; one sister, Tammy (Al) Brown of Brooklet; a brother, Jackey Heath of South Carolina; a step-sister, Becky Rushing of Statesboro; three aunts, Jean Howard of South Carolina, Wanda Gay of Aline, and Sarah Mitchell of Savannah; several nephews and countless friends made along life’s journey also survive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Low Country Cremation & Burial.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial. Interment will follow the funeral service in Reidsville City Cemetery.

We, the family, extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Summit Cancer Care of Pembroke, Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, and Community Hospice for the exceptional care and treatment provided to Sherri during her illness.
