Sherry (Lindsay) Smith

Sherry J. Smith, age 68, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton.  The Collins native had lived in Tattnall County all of her life.  She was a homemaker and was an avid fan of Elvis.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Moody and Marie Wilds Lindsay; son, Galvin Smith, Jr; siblings, Twindle Powell, Donald Lindsay, Sr, and Miriam Craft.

She is survived by her sister, Faye Smith of Reidsville, brother, Wayne Lindsay of Twin City; special friends, Sherri and Leslie Kelley; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 beginning at 1:00pm with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Andrew Nelms officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall CARES.
