Shirley Fincher Hightower

August 24, 1938 — March 31, 2016

Macon

Shirley Fincher Hightower, age 77 passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility in Macon. The Gordon native had lived in Macon most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who loved to watch television, spend time with her grandkids and her best friend Lucille Harris. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward “Bubba” Fincher.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Kitchens of Macon and Donna (Ken) Parker of Centerville;  grandchildren, Brad Kitchens, Christy Brooks, Mandi Mason, Charles Edward Fincher, Jr., Thomas Fincher, Chasinee Wilder, Chasin Floyd, and Taylor Harris; 18 great-grandchildren, step-grandsons, Kenneth Parker and Chris Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Macon. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Glenhaven Memorial Park.
