Steven "Skippy" Hays Frost

Steven “Skippy” Frost, age 52 passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 24, 1969 to Hays W. and Sandra Jones Frost. He lived in Jacksonville all of his life and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the beach, canoeing, skateboarding and spending time with his family. Steven was a free spirit who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never met a stranger and he had a smile that would capture your heart with a soul that would make you his friend. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his soul mate, Lorraine “Mimi” Lyle of Jacksonville; his cousins by birth, but his brothers in life, Leslie Groover of Townsend and Eddie Frost of Fort Meyers, Florida; aunts, Lottie Camp of Townsend, Faye (Walter) Hussey of Reidsville, and Beverly (Sonny) Medlock of Mendes; Uncle, Tommy Frost of Townsend; numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022 with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Posey officiating. Interment will follow at Mendes Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends
