Sue Johnson Ashley of Savannah, GA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was born on Oct. 14, 1928 in Martin, TN. She was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church and Bull Street Baptist Church Spice Company and the Nelson Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, John H Ashley, Jr; She is also survived by her four children, John H Ashley III,(Vickie) of Savannah, Rebecca A Miller, (David) of Greenville, SC, Robert S Ashley,(Cecilia) of Tennille, GA, Margaret A Neal, (Todd) of Snellville, GA; She leaves behind her five loving grandchildren, John H Ashley,IV, Lauren A Plumley, (Thomas) and Stephen E Ashley,(Rebecca) of Savannah, and Meagan A Haas, (Zach) of Simsbury, CT, and Amanda L. Miller of Charleston, SC; She also leaves behind her four sweet great grandchildren, Grayson Plumley, Grant Plumley, Tucker Haas, and Ethan Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Savannah Baptist Center, 704 Wheaton St. Savannah, GA 31401.

Memorial Services will be held at White Bluff United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00. The family will receive friends at 10:30.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Ashley family.
