Sue (Harvey) McCumber Kennedy

Mrs. Sue McCumber Kennedy, age 69, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center.  The Toombs County native had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  She retired from Concerted Services.  Mrs. Sue loved to work in her yards, going to yard sales and antiquing.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kennedy, parents, Lester Freeman Harvey and Iris Fendley Harvey Perkins; uncle, Pete Day and sister, Shirley Larcey.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Avie Dean) McCumber and Shannon (April) McCumber all of Reidsville; brothers, Wendell (Linda) Harvey of Lyons, and JC (Cheryl) Harvey of Laurens County; special friend, James Shelton of Reidsville; aunt, Delavia Jones of Toombs County; Uncle, Buddy (Bonnie Fay)Paradise of Toombs County;  grandchildren, Hunter, Harley, Dalton, and Mercedes McCumber; faithful companions, Atlas and Odie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Saturday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Sunday, October 11, 2015 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall CARES or Community Hospice.
