Sunny Sikes age 75 was born November 2, 1942 to Jack and Lizzie Sikes he passed away June 3, 2018. He was a Vietnam War Veteran after his time in the Army he held various jobs including his own Quail business and Pine Straw gathering business. Sunny always loved to hunt and fish teaching many children his ways of doing so. He was a marksman and enjoyed sighting in a gun for somebody to hunt with.  He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Sunny was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Otis Sikes, Bonnie Phillips, Wenell Bazemore, Buddy Edward Sikes, Jake Sikes, L.V. Sikes, Talmadge Sikes, and Vernon Sikes.

Sunny is survived by 3 sons, Steve Allen Sikes of Metter, Levi Vincent Sikes of Collins, and Thomas Peyton Sikes of Midway; 3 grandchildren, Kasey A. Sikes, Dustin A. Sikes, and Devin A. Sikes; 4 sisters, Delma Collins of Cobbtown, Erelene Lively of Collins, Mary Collins of Lyons, and Peggy (Earl) Lively of Collins; 1 brother, Buford (Judy) Sikes of Collins and Many Many nieces and nephews. Also a very special long time friend Dusty James.

The Memorial Service will be held June 19, 2018 at Pine Grove Baptist Church. The family will meet at the church at 11:30 for lunch. Family and Friends will gather in the church sanctuary at 1:30 for the service.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Sikes family.
