On Sunday, March 10, 2024 Sylvia Johnston decided to rest and take that beautiful vacation. God has been her solid companion and comforter through the wretched Cancer. All is good now. Sylvia is preceded in this journey by her parents, Walton and Rozella Johnston, infant grandson, Nicholas Andrews.
She is survived by her only sibling, Wendell Johnston, who has been active in her support in all ways he could be, her three children, Alis (Jason) Andrews, Bryan (Mandi) Dobbs, and Corey Dobbs, grandchildren, Adrienne Andrews, Erin Andrews, Osiris Dobbs, Aryanna Dobbs and great grandson, Nick Andrews Ferrante.
Extreme gratitude goes to my beloved friends that stepped in for added support, Deborah Cowart Thompson, Maryann Fensler. May God pour extra blessings on you and yours. Mary McKenna, Thank You for everything. Linda and Jimmy Miller, GHC Hospice has the highest regard from me, excellent care from my nurses and aides and All of his Angels. God is real and God is love.
Sylvia’s instructions are, that there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, send donations to the local animal shelter to help cats.
