Glennville,
Tammy Waters Dehardt, age 49, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 after a short illness. She was born in Metter on January 11, 1971 to Joey and Susan Roberts Waters and had lived in Glennville most of her life. Her career began as a respiratory therapist, working locally at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton. Most recently however, together with her husband, they owned their own business, All American Stone. Although her career paths kept her busy, she always made time for her family. Spending time with her family was her most favored pass time, especially time spent with the grandchildren. Everyone that met Tammy would tell you that she had the biggest heart and would do anything she could for you; never expecting anything in return. She also had a strong adoration for animals of all types, but most especially her 3 fur babies (dogs). Tammy was a member of Family Life Church in Brunswick and attended Glennville First United Pentecostal Church. Tammy indeed was a genuine spirit, filled with love and concern for others; her loss leaves a void that no one can fill. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard F. “Buddy” Roberts and James Olen and Valerie O. Waters.
She is survived by her husband, Scottie Dehardt; children, Ashley Duffany and Hance (Chasity) Larsen all of Glennville; parents, Joey and Susan Waters of Glennville; brother, Richie (Kristen) Waters of Glennville; grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Roberts of Glennville; grandchildren, William Wilson and Kadence Larsen; niece and nephews, Greyson Waters, Raegan Collins and Olin Collins; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Glennville Funeral Home with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am with the Reverend Joseph Brock officiating.
Memorials may be given to Tattnall Shrine Club, PO Box 442, Glennville, GA 30427
