Glennville

Glennville,

Terri Lynn Peralta, age 50, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville.  She was born in Germany and had lived most of her life in Glennville. Terri always challenged herself to learn new things.  Her family says, “You name it, she could do it.”  This can do attitude led her to explore a variety of hobbies including farming, gardening, painting, various arts and crafts, and cooking.  Her positive attitude did not end with her hobbies either.  During her professional career she worked at Fort Stewart Youth Challenge Academy.  The positive attitude she had, no doubt, positively influenced many of the students whom she served over the years.  Additionally, Terri was an active member of Cornerstone Bible Church. Truly someone who always looked for the best in people and never let the world get her down, Terri will be sorely missed.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Kurtis) Archer and Malia-Ana Peralta all of Glennville; her dad and stepmother, Bennie and Theresa Smith of Glennville; sisters, Tina Merrill, Theresa Bartram and Jennifer Heiston all of Glennville; nieces and nephews, Patrick (Erin) Merrill, Brittany(Casey) McAlister, Heather Bartram, and Meaghann (Zachary) Herd; grandchildren, Avery Herd, Philip Bartram, and James Herd.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, July 25, 2020 at Cornerstone Bible Church in Glennville.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion, 225 Candler Drive Savannah, GA 31405 or to the family at 1265 US 301 South, Glennville, GA 30427
